Collections Officer

Job description

• Up to $75k plus super
• On site parking and good local public transport routes
• Immediate start available 
• Must be Aus Citizen/PR holder to be considered

• Management of accounts within the debtors system to ensure that any falling beyond acceptable payment terms are promptly contacted and any in arrears and cleared as effectively as possible
• Creating statements of outstanding invoices as required
• Dealing with all correspondence via phone, email and mail effectively
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with all Clients
• Working as part of a team to ensure success in the collection of payments while working working within internal policies and government legislation

• Relevant certificate/diploma in Accounting/Finance or something similar
• Previous experience in a collection/receivable type role
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Must be confident and clear while speaking with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Customer service focused
