Job description

The Administrative Assistant provides a range of administrative support functions to the work area to ensure efficient and effective operations and high quality service to clients.

  • $39.00 per hour + super
  • Orange – Immediate start – End of September
  • Previous Administrative experience

The role will be responsible for overseeing:

  • Undertake routine administrative and office management tasks and support services including database and records management, organising meetings, filing, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, routine purchasing, meeting and event support, photocopying, and creating and compiling documents
  • Utilise and maintain a range of administrative systems and procedures to ensure effective organisational support
  • Respond to enquiries and routine requests for information, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information
  • Collect and compile information for, and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making

Other skills:

  • Working independently with minimal supervision to ensure reporting deadlines are met, maintaining high levels of accuracy and completeness while prioritising tasks from multiple sources
  • Maintaining knowledge of policies, procedures and guidelines across a broad range of activities
  • Working collaboratively with a wide range of staff whilst responding rapidly to diverse employee issues and requests for information
