Are you an experienced Administrator who has recently supported a government department and looking for a new contract role? It is initially a 6 month contract with possibility to extend.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and flexible Administration Officer to join a leading NSW Government team. You will be responsible for providing high level, competent administrative and clerical support including, quality client service, undertaking projects and research.

The role will be responsible for overseeing:

  • Utilise and maintain a range of administrative systems and procedures to ensure effective organisational support
  • Respond to enquiries and routine requests for information, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information
  • Collect and compile information for, and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making
  • Undertaking projects and research
  • Executive support
  • Stores and records maintenance

Other skills:

  • Displays initiative and can work cohesively as part of a team
  • 3 years or more in a similar role
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
