About the Company:
Leading global retail powerhouse with strong market capitalisation. Australia HQ based in western Sydney with stores globally.
About the Role:
This is a permanent, full time position based in Western Sydney with an immediate start. Your position will include but not be limited to;
-
Daily & monthly bank reconciliations;

Assist with month-end processes and reporting
-
Assist with maintenance of the general ledger
-
Analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
-
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
-
Assist with the annual budgeting & ongoing forecasting process;

Assist with preparation of BAS, FBT & payroll tax returns
About You:
The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience from retail, ideally a multinational company.

3+ years experience working as an Assistant accountant

Experience with daily high-volume transactions
-
High attention to detail
-
First class communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Retail/Wholesale experience highly desired
-
Working towards CPA/ CA
