Job description
My client is a global manufacturers based in Western Sydney - looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This role is cost focused so experience around inventory, variance analysis inc commentary and production lines would be beneficial as well as intermediate Excel skills and ERP system experience.
This role would suit a candidate who has 3+ years experience working as an Assistant Accountant (similar) and is looking for the next step up in their career.
Communication skills | multi tasking | fast pace environment and an inquisitive mind-set is key for this role.
Salary on offer is $65,000 - $70,000 + super + study support is offered.
Key Accountabilities:
- weekly & monthly reconciliation completion
- review standard vs actual costs for inaccuracies
- weekly P&L reporting and analysis
- production & inventory variances
- reconciliation of weekly sales figures
- balance sheet reconciliations
Ideally the right candidate will come from a manufacturing background however not essential.
