Job description
Charterhouse are working exclusively with a 3 Partner firm based in Chatswood to find them an accountant to join their team.
The firm offer a range of accounting services including; Business Services, Tax Advisory and Forensic Accounting. The team very much has a family feel and they are extremely proud of the family first approach they take to their work.
You will be working in a team of 10 and be expected to get hands on with your clients, so someone who is happy to be on the phone and meeting clients in person would be perfect for this role. It’s an exciting time to be joining as new clients will be coming on board over the next few months and they are looking to their staff to take help on board-them
Working closely with one partner, you will be providing a range of Tax Compliance and Accounting services to a range of clients across a variety of industries while also being involved in the training and mentoring of junior accountants.
Duties
- Preparation on financial accounts, Tax Returns and the working papers for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF’s
- BAS and IAS
- Liaising with the ATO
- Assisting the Financial planning and Forensic Accounting teams
Skills and experience
- CA or CPA Qualified. Or close to qualifying
- 3-4 Years’ experience working for an Accounting firm
- Knowledge and use of MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication
