  • Up to $120k package

About the Company

Are you an experienced Business Services/Tax Manager? Do you feel like you've hit a glass ceiling in your current role or are you simply looking for a new challenge? If the answer is yes, then this could be the perfect role for you as Charterhouse are partnering with a Top 20 firm in the CBD to secure them a Business Services Manager who has ambitions on becoming a Director.

They have an international and national presence with over 40 staff in their Brisbane CBD office and an envious client base which is largely upper mid-market clients.

They are well known for their commitment to training and ongoing development of their staff. They provide regular internal training and they also providing external training on a quarterly basis.

About the Role

you take control of a fee portfolio in the region of $1.2m, directly managing 6 people and see you acting as the face of the firm to your clients. You will also be a mentor and subject matter expert to the accountants and intermediates who will be reporting into you.

  • Delegating work and assigning tasks to accountants and intermediates
  • Running a portfolio of clients while also looking to cross sell the firms other services
  • Manage WIP and deadlines for your team
  • Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Charities
  • Financial Statements preparation, BAS and IAS
  • Attend networking events and work with the marketing team to put other functions the firm’s clients

Skills & Experience

  • CA Qualified
  • 7+ years’ experience working within business services or tax within Australian accounting firm(s)
  • Excellent with clients; so high level written, and verbal communication is a must
  • Previous experience of directly managing or supervising others
