Job description

Our NSW Government client are currently seeking a customer focussed Business Support Officer to provide administrative and BAU services across the business. The role is NOT responsible for resolving end user IT issues, only for managing escalations with the business partner.

  • CBD Location
  • $480-$530 + super per day
  • Initial 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension
  • Must be customer focussed and have experience as part of a service delivery team

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, track and resolve end user ICT escalations by working with the Business Partner
  • Manage and maintain IT asset data in specified systems, ensuring integrity of data captured
  • Validate costs for all ICT costs 
  • Provide coordination and support on IT related projects for AV and IT site commissioning 
  • Create and maintain user guides, internal processes and FAQs for ICT & AV to provide assistance to end users
  • Develop training materials and deliver training sessions as required  
  • Manage all AV related requests, engage vendors, troubleshoot and identify issues and audit equipment on a regular basis 

To be successful, you will need:

  • Must be customer focussed and have experience as part of a service delivery team
  • Some technical experience preferred, but does not need to be an expert in all areas
  • Must be a team player who enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • Must have strong administrative skills (to support expense and asset management of IT hardware)
  • Understanding of excel is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
