Job description
My client, a CBD located insurer are looking for a strong Claims Analyst to join their growing team. This position would suit an ambitious individual who has a strong understanding of Workers Compensation laws and regulations.
You will be asked to undertake technical and legislative reporting and analysis to support the identification of trends and the development of framework for the team. You will provide the operations team with technical interpretations of Workers Compensation legislation and trend analysis to facilitate their actions and decisions. Additionally, you will responsible for the analysis of data in the claims environment to ensure that Return to Work solutions are effectively implemented and embedded.
Your expertise will be sought to provide technical interpretations of relevant legislation, trend analysis of the range of scheme statistics and the outcomes of systemic reviews of claims. You will also be tasked with undertaking investigation and action trends to support the bi-annual valuation to ensure scheme sustainability.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong analytical experience and a sound understanding of the Workers Compensation Act. You will be articulate and able to present a case in front of senior level stakeholders.
