Job description
My client is a large multinational retailer based in Alexandria with one of the best cultures in Sydney. They are searching for a Commercial Analyst to join them initially for a 6-month contract but there is a view to permanency or long term extension. This role is ideally suited for a truly commercially focussed Business Partner.
Main responsibilities:
- Business Partnering with business leaders to develop annual budgets and their forecasts.
- Analyse and make suggestions on ways to improve productivity and optimisation of labour.
- Produce variance reports (actuals v.s. budgets) and partner with the operational leadership team.
Key criteria:
- CPA or CA qualified ideally.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision making.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Prior experience of reporting and modelling.
