Job description
My client, a market leading Insurer are looking to strengthen their already profitable Commercial Underwriting function. Someone to introduce fresh dynamics, offer their underwriting experience and develop new networks. Whilst also assist with the development of current accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
- Influencing and shaping the Commercial Portfolio, implementing your technical skill set
- Identifying new business opportunities and strategic account management as well as the ability to cross sell
- A market facing approach with the idea of developing new relationships whilst capitalising on existing relationships
- Assist with the development and education of junior underwriting staff
Key Requirements:
- Experience in underwriting Commercial Insurance
- Ability to build trust, credibility and maintain relationships
- Proactive identify, plan and execute solutions against client and market demands
- Offer your influence, experience and thoughts to the team and market
