About the role

The Sydney Dispute Resolution and litigation team form a first-rate practice, one of the largest in Australia. It’s reputation for undertaking the most complex, significant and high-profile matters, and delivering excellent results for a diverse range of clients, is second to none.
Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will act on major complex commercial litigation in a range of areas, including high-profile financial services disputes and investigations. Specifically, your key matters will be large and complex commercial litigation and investigations undertaken by Australian regulatory bodies, including ASIC and the ATO.
You will be involved in running significant matters including drafting correspondence, preparing advices, day to day management of files, briefing and liaising with counsel, preparing witness and expert evidence and assisting with the preparation of final and interlocutory proceedings.
Skills & Experience
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Commercial litigation and/or regulatory experience
- Strong academic achievements
- Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation
- The ability to work independently and autonomously and a strong work ethic
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment
