A hugely successful business, this is a well-known, Tier one Construction and Development company.

About the Role

  • Assist the Project Commercial Manager in the administration of the Head Contract
  • Work closely with the Construction Team and wider project team to monitor project performance 
  • In conjunction with the Commercial Manager, provide commercial and contractual support / guidance
  • Subcontractor Management, including issuing and maintaining of work packages, adherence to and execution of the Subcontract Agreement 
  • Review and Processing of subcontractor payment claims  
  • The setting up Head Contract and Subcontract budgets in the Jobpac system
  • Administer commercial aspects of subcontractor arrangements to ensure that they are commercially and legally in accordance with the contractual arrangements
  • Review and processing of progress claims in conjunction with the Construction Manager and Site Supervisors, 
  • Negotiating outcomes of variations, delays and other subcontractor contractual claims
  • Assist with commercial administration on other projects as and when necessary. 
  • Collect, compile and prepare accurate purchasing reports, receipts and acknowledgement of materials and supplies
  • Implement and maintain proper documentation, systems and processes
  • Work closely with various internal groups to understand business requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements 


About You

  • 2+ years in a Contract Admin role
  • Experience working on Telecommunications projects is highly desirable
  • Proficient understanding in the use of MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with Jobpac systems
  • Self starter and forward thinking
  • Bright and bubbly personality
  • Team Player
