About the company
My client, a medium sized retail/wholesale supplier ($120m turnover) who are going through a significant growth period, based in the Northern suburbs, require a retail industry experienced finance (costing) analyst who has advanced data mapping & streamlining skills.
About the role
The role is essentially a migration and process improvement project whereby you will be responsible for the transfer of product pricing data (wholesale and retail) from their in-house system across to MS Excel, improve/create new process mapping and link up relevant documents. This will enable a more superior control of pricing structures as the company expands into the future. The role is to start immediately and will be a 3 month project (approximately).
About the person
The successful candidate will have a proven background in Retail/FMCG pricing structure mapping, financial analysis, and the ability to effectively work this project from both a retail and wholesale perspective (such as discount grouping) whilst at the same time, adhering to best practise, trading and rebate policies.
The criteria
Essential
- Proven experience in FMCG/Retail costing role
- Process mapping/streamlining
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills / stakeholder management
- Logical thinker
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance/Commerce or other relevant subject
Desirable
- Knowledge of wholesale pricing structures & policeis
- CPA /CA qualified
