Exciting opportunity for experienced Credit officer to join a well-known global FMCG company. Full function Credit duties – working on a high-volume ledger. Experience essential. 

My client is a well-known, global FMCG company based in the Western Suburbs who is looking to hire an experienced Credit Officer to join their growing team. \
 

About the Role: 
Large retail/FMCG organization based in Sydney's Western Suburbs seek a full function Credit Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be managing the company's major accounts.  

  • Collecting outstanding invoices and resolving claims in a timely manner 

  • Reconciliation and allocation of payments 

  • Ensure all accounts are kept within the trading terms  

  • Communicating and forwarding on of rebates and claims to relevant area 

  • Allocation of payments for national accounts 

  • Raising journals and reconciling to GL 

  • Assisting the team with ad hoc work as and when required  

 

The requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar AR/credit role  

  • Previous FMCG credit experience will be highly regarded 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team 

  • Previous large ERP systems experience 

  • Ability to work to deadlines and KPIs  

  • Intermediate excel - v look ups, pivot tables
