Job description
I am currently working with a large FMCG business based in Western Sydney who are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a temp to perm basis. The team is dynamic and ambitious with a clear passion for building an efficient and value-adding finance function. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager for the duration of the assignment.
Duties:
- Managing the month end process to ensure compliance with deadlines
- Performing general ledger and account reconciliations Ensuring compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards
- Preparing tax compliance reports including periodic BAS reporting Performing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Assistance with the clerical team
- Maintaining open communication and ensuring active collaboration amongst cross-divisional stakeholders
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting
Key criteria:
- CPA or CA qualified
- 3 years + experience in accounting
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient experience MS Excel – (Pivot Tables, V-lookup)
