A leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance function and report directly into the Financial Controller.
This is a great opportunity for a first or second mover from practice who is looking for a broad role and join a business where you can progress into different areas in the finance function (FP&A/Commercial).
 
A leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance function and report directly into the Financial Controller.
This is a great opportunity for a first or second mover from practice who is looking for a broad role and join a business where you can progress into different areas in the finance function (FP&A/Commercial).
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure revenue recognition complies to the company’s policies
• Provide technical accounting training to the business
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and other treasury related tasks
• Inventory, inventory fixed asset and fixes asset management- including working with supply chain to manage inventory and fixed asset related matters, managing and reviewing inventory, preparing reports for the business and supply chain divisions
• Leading the month end process and making sure all deadlines are met
• Preparing month end journals
• Statutory compliance – ensuring that all statutory reports and fillings are completed correctly
• Ad hoc work

 
Experience required includes:

• You must be a CA/CPA qualified accountant
• You must have 2/3 years’ experience within a similar role (Financial Accountant/Group Accountant)
• Have strong communication skills
