Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager within an entity of the NSW government, your role will be to provide overall accounting ownership.

• Support the annual statutory reporting requirements
• Prepare Financial Statements
• Process journals and ensure timely and accurate General Ledger reconciliations
• Preparing and lodging BAS, FBT, GST, PAYG
• Support SAP module upgrades relating to the Financial Accounting team
• Take ownership of system improvements and work external
• Offer process improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Demonstrate technical proficiency with accounting concepts
• Will have a process driven mentality with a passion for continuous improvement
• A pro-active approach to work and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• SAP ERP - User and Implementation experience desirable along with Strong Excel
