The Firm:

This is an opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join a boutique accounting firm located in the South of Sydney.  Work in a team of passionate accountants who focus on added value work such as tax planning and advisory work for their clients with a constant focus on helping them grow their profits and success. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types
• Process client’s compliance obligations including income tax, GST, superannuation, land tax and stamp duty
• SMSF administration and compliance
• Liaison with external parties in relation to client affairs
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Value add assignments and bespoke projects
• Continuous improvement of internal firm procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in an Australian business services role
• Planning to study or studying CA or CPA qualification 
• Vast knowledge of economic and accounting practices and principles, banking and analysis of reporting on financial data
