Our client is a genuine leader in Insurance law that boasts a highly impressive client base, both domestically and internationally. This firm are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are actively growing their International presence. Internally this firm have started to implement an appealing scheme that matches senior members within the firm to the lawyers and associates to provide support and tutelage when needed, this is just one of the ways this firm invests into the progression of all their staff.
About the role
This firm are now looking for an Insurance lawyer to work closely with experienced solicitors at the firm working on matters from a high level of Lawyers.
In this role you will work across the wide spectrum of liability with a bias towards complex Property Damage matters. Responsibilities will include drafting relevant legal documentation and advising clients on a range of Insurance matters. Within this team all members are encouraged to build their client skills and have regular client contact.
As a developing Lawyer with this firm you will be mentored and supervised by the more senior members of the team and therefore you must be willing to learn from, and work closely, with senior lawyers.
Ideally applicants will possess:
- At least 1 year PQE in Defendant Insurance
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong academics
- An ambition to carve out a career in this area of law
