Market Risk Analyst

Job description

Well renowned as an employer of choice among Australia’s largest corporates, this household name is seeking to add the services of an Analyst level Market Risk professional to a stable and high performing team. 
 

Coming with an understanding of physical and financial risks around the movement of commodities, you will be responsible for:

• Quantifying risk exposures through the use of models which you will both help enhance, and create where needed
• You will present and explain results through routine and ad hoc reporting packs
• Leverage relationships across the various commercial teams to make sure that exposures reflect the current portfolio and assess limit tolerances and highlight any modelled exposures that have been breached to senior business leaders

Coming with a Degree in Maths, Physics, Econometrics or Science, you are a proactive and confident Risk professional with a hunger to continue raising the bar around the provision and implementation of analytical solutions.
You enjoy problem solving and communicating across business lines and functional units.
