Job description
- Permanent full time - experienced Payroll Manager
- Staff Management | process improvement | hands on role
- Macquarie Park based | close to Metro | Hybrid working
My client is a large National organisation, servicing both the Government Sector and Private / Commercial sector.
We are looking for a hands on, experienced Payroll Manager to sits across day to day payroll processes and procedures, staff management, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
You will be responsible for a busy payroll so a hands on attitude is essential.
This role is being offered as a permanent full time position | hybrid working | payroll up to $140,000 + super (dependant on experience).
Requirements of the role:
- Managing all aspects of the payroll function
- Processing of all matters specific to the payroll function (weekly payroll)
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Managing payroll team to deliver weekly payroll
- mentor, train, guide and hiring
- Payroll legislation, award and contract administration and assistance with interpretation
- Prepare payroll reports and other adhoc reports, as required
- Resolve employee and third-party enquiries
- Look for areas of process / procedure improvement & implement
This role is a crucial position and we are looking for someone who meets the criteria below.
- Experienced in staff management and payroll management (all aspects)
- Experienced in interpretation of numerous awards & EBA's
- Preferably experience working in a labour hire / casual workforce environment (blue collar workers)
- Large payroll experience (3000+)
- Weekly payroll experience
- Strong communication skills and personal skills
- Demonstrated ability to explore innovative solutions
- Proactive with a solutions-driven attitude
