Job description
An exciting permanent, full time opportunity for a Payroll officer has become available with one of our clients, a well-known national retailer based in the city.
About The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a fast paced, high volume payroll background.
- Mix of monthly, fortnightly and weekly payroll
- Dealing with remuneration queries from employees within the business
- Month end payroll reconciliations
- Set up and on-boarding of new employees
- Calculate and process redundancies, termination and other payments
- PAYG, Super and Tax calculations
- Interpretation of awards schemes/EBA’s
About You:
- Excellent organizational skills – the ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must
- 4 years minimum experience in payroll
- Strong communication skills
- Experience doing a similar role in the retail industry is a bonus
- Solid admin background
- System experience such as CHRIS21/Micropay Meridian/Preceda
