Job description
- Sydney CBD
- Initial 6-week contract
- Up to $600 a day + super
NSW Government agency is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to join their team on an immediate basis.
About the role:
- Undertake research and analysis to evaluate system performance and contribute to development of business strategies and targets
- Support the development of innovative and cost-effective assessment and reporting tools to measure insurance system performance in complying with legislation, guidelines and standards
- Plan and conduct research in the relevant industry, current and emerging issues and trends to facilitate the achievement of operational and strategic plans
- Provide reports, recommendations and advice in relation to evaluations undertaken, ensure all reports meet a high professional standard in terms of timeliness, accuracy and relevance, and prepare high-level briefing papers, submissions and Ministerial correspondence
- Oversee the preparation of reports, briefs and correspondence to inform or respond to Agency and/or Government requests
Essentials:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience within the NSW Government in a similar capacity
- Experience across ICT / Digital is beneficial
