Job description
My client sits within the construction sector, they are looking for a project accountant to come on board permanently.
The duties for this role include:
- Monitoring the progress of projects, i.e. cost to complete
- Checking the project is running on budget
- Investigating variances
- Liaising with operational teams such as construction managers/development managers (project managers) out on the field
- Keep tight control of cash flow - such as approving expenses
Requirements of the successful candidate:
- CA/CPA qualification
- 2-3 years’ experience in a project accounting role
- Excellent communication skills
