Job description

Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator with previous Government experience to join their Hurstville team on a four-month contract. This is a fast paced and challenging role which will give you the opportunity to take on more responsivity and take initiative to ensure the Project Team is supported and runs efficiently. You will be the lynch pin in this team and will need to be proactive and able to push back when managing schedules and ensuring the team works to deadlines. This role is based in Hurstville but there may occasional travel to the CBD office.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Managing project schedule
  • Coordinating all facets of the project, transformation project
  • Creating project reports - MS Project required along with Excel - Strong/Intermediate level
  • Prepare presentations as required
  • Stake Holder Management
  • May be involved in co-ordinating the recruitment on-boarding
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties

 
Ideal skills and experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication Skills, written and verbal
  • Must be able to work in a very busy environment and able to multitask
  • NSW Government Experience
  • MS Project
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational/admin skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with various stakeholders across the organisation in a fast-paced environment
