Job description

Our client, a leading Transportation organisation, require a Project Coordinator to join their team for a long term project and varied programme of work.  As part of their digital transformation programme, the Project Coordinator will work as part of the team responsible for aligning technology with business strategy, requiring superior Project Governance and Documentation skills.    
 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate the scheduling, resource management and reporting activities on behalf of the PMO. 

  • Asset Management; including technical maintenance schedules, resource planning and program reporting.  

  • Oversee cross-functional IT service streams.  

  • Ensure all project teams operate effectively to achieve successful delivery outcomes.  

  • Work collaboratively across the IT program group by using the appropriate governance / planning and scheduling framework and process to coordinate work. 

  • Awareness of project delivery and technical risks related to IT projects.   

  • Document control. 

 

To be successful for this position you will need to display: 

  • 5-years' experience in similar project coordination roles.  

  • Experience with scheduling, resource management, cost management and risk analysis 

  • Qualified in Project Management or Engineering-based disciplined; familiar with PMBOK methodology.   

  • Experience with ServiceNow, MS Projects and Jira is ideal. 

  • As a minimum, an understanding of asset/resource management and planning will be required.   

  • You are passionate and energetic to drive change in what is essentially a new role.   

  • You are strong in project governance.   

  • Strong communicator; both written and verbal.
