This large government agency works to provide services that benefit the community to support the growth of NSW regions and local areas.
About the Role:
You will be Accountable for the appropriate asset accounting of assets worth $6.8 billion across a number of entities within this cluster.
Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing consistent revaluation, impairment and accounting policies for assets across the cluster
- Supporting strategic asset management, including supporting the business in preparing asset recycling and utilisation plans and asset strategies
- preparing financial data and analysing trends relating to assets
About You:
- Accounting qualifications: CA/ CPA
- Experience working within public sector
- Strong understanding/ awareness of asset management, assets accounting and accounting standards
- Analytical and reporting skills to support decision making
