Job description
Our client is seeking a senior electrical engineer to join their Sydney based team. Projects are building based, but will also contribute to some of Australia’s largest transport infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems for a range of spanning multiple sectors. You will work closely with team members, and other disciplines to deliver project on time and on budget.
The role will also require you to:
- Lead and deliver projects in a timely and technically competent manner
- Coordinate MEP design disciplines with Structural, Civil and Architecture while producing high quality designs
- Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports specific to each project
- To be considered, you will have the following
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices
- Demonstrated history of completing building services projects successfully
- Revit 3D and BIM experience
- Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures
- Interstate and international experience (advantageous)
- Dry fire and electronic security experience (advantageous)
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to communicate/liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, clients and contractors
- Excellent time management skills, setting priorities, planning and organising
- Self-motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
