Charterhouse are currently partnering with a large multinational business in recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant to support the local Finance Director. This role will be pivotal in driving the financial accounting and reporting requirements while supporting effective delivery of financial planning and forecasting.  As well as be responsible for the preparation of statutory reports to support the annual auditing process.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

• Drive the accounting, reporting and controlling activities across the business
• Drive month-end close and preparation of associated reporting
• Support audit process and preparation of statutory reports
• Responsible for the delivery of financial planning and forecasting

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced accountant looking to progress within their career. Requirements for the role will include:

• CA/CPA Qualified with experience in a large complex commercial organisation
• Overseas reporting experience, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS, highly desirable
• Experience in SAP preferred
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data handling and modelling
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical accounting expertise, preferably gained at a chartered firm
