Job description
A leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance function and report directly into the Financial Controller.
This is a great opportunity for a first or second mover from practice who is looking for a broad role and join a business where you can progress into different areas in the finance function (FP&A/Commercial).
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure revenue recognition complies to the company’s policies
- Provide technical accounting training to the business
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and other treasury related tasks
- Inventory, inventory fixed asset and fixes asset management- including working with supply chain to manage inventory and fixed asset related matters, managing and reviewing inventory, preparing reports for the business and supply chain divisions
- Leading the month end process and making sure all deadlines are met
- Preparing month end journals
- Statutory compliance- ensuring that all statutory reports and fillings are completed correctly
- Ad hoc work
Experience required includes:
- You must be a CA/CPA qualified accountant
- You must have 2/3 years’ experience within a similar role (Financial Accountant/Group Accountant)
- ave strong communication skills
