Our client is a leading construction company that has a rich history in Australasia and continues to work on the biggest infrastructure projects across the region. Due to their considerable size as well as their clients and partners they have a large national legal team that covers both front and back end matters.
About the role
This role is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Construction Lawyer who is looking to work at a leading construction firm handling the most high-profile matters for the company. In this role you will work closely with other stakeholders and departments within the firm to obtain the best results. This role will be purely disputes focussed and will be working within a national team that is based in Sydney.
Ideally you will possess:
- At least 8 years PQE in Construction Disputes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss legal jargon with other areas of the business
- A high level of disputes knowledge in the Construction industry including the full cycle of litigation, arbitration, adjudication
- A willingness to mentor and supervise more junior members of the team
