Description:

The role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of Capital Planning and Investment framework and processes, including Capital Investment Plans and Strategic Asset Management Plans. It requires an advanced level of understanding in Capital Investment Business Case development and Asset Management Planning and the analysis and assessment of asset and demand data.
 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver major strategic planning across the Department and Cluster including the Justice Cluster Infrastructure Strategy to provide an evidence base for the annual Capital Investment Plan (CIP)
  • Support the development of a Justice Capital Planning and Investment prioritisation framework, including governance model, processes and tools
  • Analysis and assess data and evidence to support the development of the case for change and option assessments for capital investments
  • Advise senior stakeholders and executives to facilitate strategic infrastructure initiatives across the Department and Cluster
  • Support the in-house delivery of capital investment business cases
  • Support the development of a single asset information database to support capital investment decision making
  • Support the development of the Asset Management Policy, Strategic Asset Management Plans, and Capital Investment Plan
  • Analysis and assess asset and demand data to support the investment and divestment of assets for the Department and Cluster align to current and future business needs
  • Liaise with Central Government Agencies including Treasury, Infrastructure NSW, Property NSW, and other agencies as required to ensure cohesive, government-wide asset planning
  • Contribute to capital funding submissions to State and Commonwealth bodies to align with Justice Corporate objectives
