Tax Accountant

Job description

I am currently working with a large multinational ASX listed business based in Mascot. Due to growth, they have created a new role at the Senior Tax Accountant level

Responsibilities:

• Completing the day-to-day tax compliance for indirect (FBT, GST, PAYG, BAS returns and Transfer Pricing) and direct tax (income tax)
• Preparing all tax effect for accounting
• Preparing the tax notes for financial reporting & liaising with external auditors
• Liaising with tax authorities
• Updating internal tax policies

Key criteria:

• Ideally coming from practice background or Corporate Tax
• Effective communication skills
• Hands-on experience with tax compliance
