Job description
Global infrastructure business is looking to hire a Tax & Financial Accountant to assist Group Tax and support the finance team with Management & Financial Accounting matter. You will be working in a high performing team which offers fantastic career progression and gain exposure to commercial areas of the business.
Responsibilities for the role will include:
- Prepare monthly Business Activity Statements for Australia, New Zealand
- Prepare the annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns including collating data for Group Certificates
- Provide support to Taxation Manager with tax compliance
- Supporting the Australian Accounting Team with the month end process including journals, reconciliations and analytics
- Support the expat costing and compliance process as required
- Provide support for the year end statutory accounts preparation process
- Assist as and when necessary with ad-hoc accounting and tax matters
Requirements for the role will include:
- CA/CPA qualified Tax experience
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Be highly motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
