About the role 

This leading Medical organisation is currently going through a period of growth and require a Tech Business Analyst with strong Business system / applications implementation experience.  In this role you will provide oversight and troubleshoot business processes.  You will have strong Gap/Fit analysis and requirement gathering experience working with key stakeholders throughout the business.  You will enjoy working in fast paced and collaborative role which needs an adaptive and pragmatic approach to work

Responsibilities will include:

  • Practical experience in gathering requirements, processes mapping, conducting hypotheses-based analysis, evaluating and presenting solutions, mapping requirements to product functionality
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints
  • Work independently to define functional requirements for approved projects and minor works
  • Apply system analysis techniques to analyse requirements, system capabilities, workflows, and functional limitations
  • Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project
  • Ensure use and continuous improvement of a requirements processes
  • Provide business analysis expertise to system users, business partners, and other internal/external customers including trouble shooting issues and creating training materials as well as identifying and correcting process inefficiencies
  • Support Integration and User Acceptance Testing by creating test scenarios, test cases mapped to the functional and non-functional requirements
  • Provide 3rd level support for business systems


To be successful for this position you will need to display:

  • Prior experience working with Medical solutions
  • Experience in data cleansing and migration
  • Experience in process analysis, mapping, documentation and improvement
  • Experience in supporting a business through a large transition
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to customer service
  • Ability to facilitate and run workshops and meetings
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work with business stakeholders and present solution options and recommendations
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Experience in using project management and document sharing toolsets including Jira, confluence and SharePoint.
