About the Role:
 
End-end fortnightly and payroll processing for circa 500 employees, whom are casuals and permanent staff.
 
Key Accountabilities

  • Full function fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
  • Termination and redundancy payments
  • Accurate maintenance and posting of month-end general ledger entries
  • Maintenance and update of all employees’ personal records on payroll system
  • Preparing monthly and yearly payroll reconciliations
  • Superannuation reporting and payments
  • Calculation & payment of all payroll & PAYG taxes
  • Processing workers compensation payments and annual renewals
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations
  • Various Excel spreadsheet reports to the CFO, Accountant and Technical Department
  • Other HR and accounting related ad hoc duties
