Job description

The Firm:  
A well-established, local Underwriting Agency has partnered with a global front runner in Trade Credit to act as an agent on behalf of one of Australia’s largest Credit Lines Broker.  
This hiring manager grew the businesses client base by over 50% in 2019 and is now seeking the support of an experienced Underwriter to help them go to the next strength in 2020.  
This business has attractive whilst aggressive growth plans.  

The Role: 
Assist the team with their efforts to grow the business by development of new business and retention of existing business.  
The portfolio consists of primarily Trade Credit products across SME Australian / New Zealand clients.  
You will work closely with a market leading manager whom has an extensive network, sound technical knowledge and a genuine warm nature.  
 
The ideal requirements: 

• Credit, either Commercial or Corporate experience. 
• Underwriting experience ideally in similar business lines.    
• Local experience, understanding and knowledge of the market.  
• Well networked and technically competent.  
• Looking for professionals who have had experience in a similar role. People who are confident in their capabilities to autonomously manage a portfolio whilst being open minded to absorb the wealth of knowledge on offer.  
• Articulate, interpersonal & communicative.
