Job description
Charterhouse are partnering with a leading mid-tier accounting firm in the CBD to secure them an Undergraduate Accountant.
This firm are based in the heart of the CBD and have 70 members of staff operating across a number of service lines. They have an excellent reputation, a high-profile client base and a habit of training and developing excellent accountants.
Some of the partners are home grown success stories who joined as undergrads and worked their way up to partner, so you can be comfortable you are joining a firm who will provide you with an excellent knowledge base.
The role itself will see you working in the business services division. You will be preparing Tax Returns, preparing Financial Statements as well as Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS). Structured and regular training will be provided as well as support for your CA once your university studies are completed.
You will have 1 day per week to attend university lectures and access to external accounting training.
About You
- Currently studying accounting, finance, commerce, business or economics at university
- 6-18 months experience working for an accounting firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Be self-motivated with an eye for detail
