About the role
This globally recognised company is currently at the forefront of their industry. With a rapid period of growth and stability this organisation has been making large technology changes across their enterprise. They are currently looking for a highly capable Workday Consultant to join their highly professional and motivated team. In this role you will play a pivotal part in working with the Technical and Business teams across configuration, enhancements and project activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the execution of the review of the Workday remediation and enhancement project along with systems manager and other stakeholders
- Managing the input of workstream lead(s) – Industrial Relations, Business partners, HR Operations, and other subject matter experts into key project activities
- Initially lead the project on brainstorming, creating and managing business processes, documentation during the project phase and continue with systems role with enhancements, support issues and cyclical processes
- Support key remediation activities like Job Catalogue rebuild, compensation profiles, remuneration process, security streamlining and reporting
- Functional consulting to partner and deliver solutions in Workday to meet business requirements
- Developing and maintaining key project documents including the minutes, meeting agendas, central RAIDs log as well as Project Status Updates/Reports
- Post project completion, the role will include to support future optimisations, enhancements and implementation of additional modules
- Develop test scripts and complete testing for new functionality/ system (workday) upgrades. Develop processes, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures to support System Administration activities
To be successful for this position you will need to display:
- An in-depth understanding of Workday architecture and essential knowledge of various modules (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Advanced Comp, Security & Sysadmin)
- Experience across other modules including Learning, Performance & Talent, Absence and Integrations are highly desirable
- Comfort in working with HR data and ability to analyse and problem solve people information
- Knowledge EBA’s (of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements) is desirable with excellent level of skill in Microsoft Excel
