The Role
You’ll work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver a mix of business services, tax and accounting work for a diverse portfolio of SMEs, family groups and sole traders. Your day will include:
- Preparing financial statements, BAS, IAS and tax returns
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects
- Liaising with clients and building strong relationships
- Working on more complex jobs as your skills grow
- Using cloud-based systems such as Xero, MYOB and APS
About You
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant who brings:
- 2+ years experience in business services/tax within public practice
- A genuine desire to grow your technical and client-facing skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
- Experience with Xero or similar cloud platforms
- CA/CPA underway or a desire to commence (fully supported)
