Charterhouse is partnering with a well-established firm in the Canowindra region to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team. The role
The firm is seeking an Accountant to join their team, offering a strong platform to develop business services capability and progress your career. This role will involve:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and business clients
  • Providing end-to-end accounting support, including business setup, GST registration, BAS preparation, payroll setup, and cash flow management
  • Contributing to a proactive and client-focused service approach
You will work with a varied client base, ranging from ambitious family-owned businesses to high-net-worth individuals, delivering both compliance and advisory services to a high standard.
This is more than a traditional compliance role - while you will be responsible for core accounting work, you will also be supported to develop your client-facing skills, with regular interaction and engagement with clients as you grow in the role.

About you
  • CA/CPA Qualified or studying is desirable but not essential
  • Minimum  2+ year's experience in Australian public practice
  • Good attention to detail & quality technical skills
  • Looking for a long-term career move, with a real chance of career progression
