Summary:
An exciting opportunity to join a large education organisation and join a shared services team. Initial 4–6-month contract with extensions
Company:
A large educational organisation that is going through an exciting growth period and are needing experienced Accountants or Assistant Accountants to join their team.
Role:
This role is responsible for delivering accounting services to a portfolio of departments, and help drive improving reconciliation processes and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly & Annual Financial Statements
- End of Month Reconciliations including Salaries, Fee and Levy, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Clearing Accounts and credit card statement and enter transactions into General Ledger
- Maintain Asset Registry
Key Requirements:
- Substantial experience working as a Bookkeeper/Financial Accountant, with demonstrated ability to perform an accounting month end function.
- Completed or close to completing a CA or CPA qualification
- Experience with using enterprise software packages, preferably TechnologyOne
