Job description
The RoleThis NSW Government Department is seeking an Administration Assistant to join a dynamic team. The successful person will be employed on a temporary contract for an initial 3 month contract with a high potential for extension.
Duties
- Administration support (including filing, mail receipt)
- Meeting and event support, creating and compiling documents to support the team
- Provide initial customer service, answering general queries and referring issues to the appropriate staff member
- Reception duties when required
- Assisting in providing support to various teams including preparing agendas, briefing papers and organizing meeting venues.
- Compile information to support the development of documentation and reports.
- Records Management using TRIM
- Any Adhoc Administration tasks
- Good communication skills
- Government experience required
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience in drafting correspondence
- Recent TRIM experience is a MUST
- Previously worked in a regulatory role
- Ability to work in a high volume environment with tight timeframes
- Great team
- $30 -$35 per hour
- Close to public transport
- Close to shopping and restaurants
