Job description

The Role
This NSW Government Department is seeking an Administration Assistant to join a dynamic team. The successful person will be employed on a temporary contract for an initial 2 months with a high potential for extension.

Duties
  • Working long side a team of administrators you will be sorting the hard copy post every morning in the AM, preparing documents for scanning into Invoice Automation scanner, using MS Outlook to sort, review and move emails between folders. 
  • Check emails and respond to vendors asking for further detail if it is missing in the original invoice sent to the mailbox email.
  • You will also have the opportunity to get involved in resolving customer queries, communication to schools, TAFE, Corporate offices and vendors.
Skills/ Experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Experience in drafting correspondence
  • Previously worked in a regulatory role
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment with tight timeframes
