Job description
My client is looking to hire an assistant accountant to work closely with the finance manager of the largest business unit globally. As a business, they offer career progression, mentoring and constantly look to develop their staff. The finance team within this business is high performing and have an excellent standard of working.

Responsibilities for the role will include:
- Maintain and develop the financial control frame work
- Assist with month end and make sure all timelines are met for areas such as accruals debtors cash and fixed assets
- Support the Finance Manager in the completion of analytical reviews across the P&L/balance sheet
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly
- Provide support for the half-year and year-end audit process
- Supporting the Finance Manager to deliver the management reporting and analysis to support initiatives
- Ad hoc work
Requirements for the role will include:
- Currently working towards their CPA/CA or a finalist
- Ideally have minimum of 3 years in an Assistant Accountant role
- Ideally have relevant healthcare experience
- Have excellent communication skills
