About the Firm
This is an opportunity to join the International Business Services team of a leading mid-tier accounting firm, working with sophisticated international corporates, foreign-owned subsidiaries, global fund managers and institutional investors.
You'll be joining a specialist International Business Services practice expected to generate more than $6m in revenue this year.
You'll work across a small portfolio of significant corporate clients, dealing directly with CFOs, Financial Controllers, overseas finance teams and global stakeholders, while gaining a genuine mix of financial reporting, corporate tax and management accounting experience.
About the team
The Team: 3 Partners, Senior Manager, 2 Managers, an Assistant Manager, 3 Seniors, 3 Accountants and offshore team plus an EA + PA.
The Partner group includes highly experienced Business Services leaders, including a Partner with 20+ years experience who also holds a national industry leadership position.
The team operates as a pooled structure, giving you exposure across Partners, clients and industries rather than being tied to one portfolio.
There is strong Partner accessibility, collaboration and knowledge sharing, with good staff retention. A lot of the staff have been in the business for 5+ years.
The Clients
- Significant Global Entities (SGEs)
- European and international corporate groups
- Global and listed fund managers
- Foreign-owned subsidiaries requiring local finance, reporting and compliance support
- Businesses across technology, real estate, engineering, healthcare, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing and property
You'll work with CFO's, financial controllers, overseas finance teams and global stakeholders on their business services & management accounting needs.
Your work will include:
- Monthly and quarterly reporting
- Financial statement preparation and review
- Corporate tax and regulatory compliance oversight
- Process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
- Client management, ensuring deadlines are met
- Mentoring 2 staff members
About You
- We're interested in either an established Manager or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to step up. With experience working in a public practice firm.
- You'll ideally be CA/CPA qualified
- You'll bring solid knowledge across tax, financial reporting, and month-end accounting, together with the confidence to review work and communicate with sophisticated clients.
- Previous international-client experience is not essential. Strong technical foundations, intelligence, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are more important.
