This globally recognised media company is currently at the forefront of their market and have continued to grow from strength to strength.  With several recent client wins combined with new implementations and projects, the need for a Data BI / BA has emerged to join their highly experienced and professional team.  In this role you will play a pivotal part in liaising between both marketing / sales team and with the media audience where you will analyst large sets of data.  You will work in a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes personal development and progression.
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
The strategic analyst plays a key role in the development of company revenues, applying a passion for movies combined with a broad knowledge of advertising media and the media agency ecosystem to the business.
 
Working within the analytics division, the role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, commercial and finance departments, to drive outcomes that positively impact the business.

  • Development of analytics tools to address challenges and improve knowledge across the business.
  • Interpretation of data based on business requirements.
  • Maintain awareness and perspective of new developments in business intelligence and the application of data in the advertising media and entertainment sectors.
  • To become an expert on CineTAM and assist it’s evolution and development
  • Creation of reporting to assist company sales activities using CineTAM data
  • Integration and analysis of other data sets to support and enhance targeting opportunities
  • Analysis of business information tools using other data sets available across the business
  • Develop a strong understanding of the technical environment.
  • Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making analysis and insight generation.
  • Analysis of large quantities of data, developing reporting templates and models alongside ad-hoc queries.
  • Advising and educating management and users of the data.
  • Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.

To be successful for this position you will need to display:
 
Advanced skills in the following technologies:

  • MS SQL Server query writing (including Analysis Services and SSRS)
  • Executive Dash-boarding
  • Data-warehousing
  • Data-integration
  • Experience in business requirements analysis.
  • Demonstrated discipline for code and architectural documentation.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Passion for media, movies and advertising
  • Proactive, resourceful with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
