Job description

This national leading construction company has recently gone through a large period of growth, and with a number of large programs of work now in place the need for a highly skilled Business Analyst has emerged to join their professional and stable team.  In this role you will play a crucial part in taking functional requirements, processing mapping and user acceptance testing in order to upgrade their systems. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement experience working with both technical and business teams and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast paced role.
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with designers, developers and testers to provide clarification when required
• Take strong Functional requirements
• Process mapping / User Acceptance Testing
• Requirements gathering and analysis using Waterfall / Agile techniques
• Facilitation of workshops including requirements gathering sessions
• Write acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team
• Review design and testing deliverables to ensure completeness of requirements
• Showcase the products to project stakeholders
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Conduct training sessions with stakeholders and end users
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure external needs are met
• Perform other duties as directed

To be successful for this position you will need to display:

• Strong Functional Requirement gathering background
• Experienced working on previous system transformation projects
• Understand forecasting / budgeting and reporting.
• A background working in a Waterfall SDLC environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
