About the role
Working closely with an experienced and supportive leadership team, you will manage your own portfolio of clients while also mentoring and managing staff and playing a key role within the team. The role offers a genuine pathway into a Senior Manager and beyond with a direct pathway to Partnership, if wanted.
  
Some of your key responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries
  • Assisting with complex taxation matters including CGT, FBT, Div7A and GST
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
  • Managing client relationships and being involved in advisory discussions
  • Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate accountants
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on workflow and client matters are these supervisor or manager responsibilities
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience within Business Services/Public Practice
    • CA or CPA qualified
    • Previous experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
    • Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge
    • Excellent communication and client management skills
    • Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems
